Curriculum Vitae of Ambassador Mr. Masroor Ahmad Junejo
Mr. Masroor Ahmad Junejo was born in June 1957;
He joined Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1981.
He served as the Additional Foreign Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2013.
His previous assignments include Additional Secretary for Foreign and Social Affairs in the Prime Minister's Secretariat, Islamabad from September, 2012 to June, 2013.
He served as the High Commissioner of Pakistan to Kenya from December 2009 to June 2011. He was concurrently accredited to Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Eritrea. He also served as the Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and UN-Habitat.
He served as the Consul General of Pakistan, Manchester (UK) from August 2006 to December 2009.
He was the Deputy Secretary General for Transport and Communications at the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Secretariat, Tehran from April 2003 to June 2006.
Mr. Masroor A. Junejo has also served in different capacities in Pakistan's Missions in Riyadh (September 1997 to December 1999), London (September 1994 to August 1997), Madrid (November 1987 to December 1990) and New Delhi (August 1984 to October 1987).
The Ambassador has also served at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Director and Assistant Director in different capacities.
Mr. Junejo is married with two children.
He speaks English, Urdu and Sindhi languages.
He has a Master degree in Business Administration.
He presented his letter of credence in Copenhagen on 14 February 2014 and in Vilnius on 24 February 2014.
