The Embassy of Pakistan, Copenhagen, today organized an event to commemorate Black Day in relation to the Indian illegal occupation of Jammu & Kashmir on 27 October 1947. The event was attended by members of the Pakistani and Kashmiri diaspora in Denmark. The messages of the President and the Prime Minister were read on the occasion. Furthermore, a documentary showing the grave human rights abuses in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir was shown.
The Ambassador highlighted in his remarks that Pakistan will always continue to provide moral and diplomatic support to our brethren in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir. The President, Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister of Pakistan continued to highlight the Kashmir issue at all major international forums. In particular they called upon the international community to raise their voices against the grave human rights violations being committed in IIOJ&K by Indian occupation forces.
On this occasion a photographic exhibition depicting the current human rights situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir was also organized.
