It is announced that as per past practice, Ministry of Religious Affairs & Interfaith Harmony has again launched the Sponsorship Scheme in Hajj Policy-2024 for facilitation of Overseas Pakistanis.

The Sponsorship Scheme is a facility for selection of Overseas Pakistanis intending pilgrims without balloting who can deposit the Hajj dues in US$ to be remitted from abroad. Pertinently, another conspicuous facility given to the applicants of the Sponsorship Scheme is that they can apply for Hajj even if they have performed Hajj in the last five years, contrary to the applicants of Regular Hajj Scheme.

Out of the total Government Hajj Quota, 25,000 seats are reserved for the Sponsorship Scheme which will be filled on first come first served basis.

Hajj dues under Sponsorship Scheme are required to be remitted in the Foreign Currency accounts (for himself/herself or anyone else) through legal channels (banks, mobile app etc). Details of Hajj dues and bank account numbers are attached.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs & Interfaith Harmony has nominated Mr. Muhammad Umar Butt, Assistant Director (Media) as focal person for the Sponsorship Scheme.
